I appreciate the fact that both the Service Writer and the Service Manager took the time to research the details of precisely what it is that GM recommends for doing an oil change on my Corvette -- for example, because of the Z51 package, you are REQUIRED to use MOBIL 1 (cannot use the GM branded oil). This level of expertise is why I came to an Authorized GM Service Dept to get work done on my car, rather than to go to the local "Jiffy Lube". You are definitely more expensive, but with what I have already invested in my vehicle, it makes no sense to take chances on going elsewhere to have work done on it. Also, I appreciate the level of personal attention that is characteristic of a smaller Dealership.
Service worked me in on a Saturday knowing my schedule had precluded me from coming in on a weekday. While there I met two couples that were traveling from West Virginia when one of their vehicles had the check engine light come on. Initially it was unclear as to the availabiIity of the needed part since it was not in inventory. I assured them that Wilson Chevrolet would do everything possible to take care of them. The Wilson team did an exhaustive search and located the needed part, repaired their vehicle and got them on their way.These folks were impressed.

The services that I requested were performed correctly and in a timely manner. I was contacted and informed of the work was that needed to correct the air bag problem and the charges. I was then asked for permission to perform the repair.

One of my concerns was not addressed to my satisfaction. I complained about the tint in my driver's side window and passenger side window being blotched while exposed to full sunlight ( I also noticed yesterday that the rear window in the cargo department also blotching). The service advisor stated that it was not apparent to the service department (cloud cover did not make available full sunlight) and she also mentioned that her car had the same problem and was told by the service department where she took her car (different manufacturer) that it was normal. I do not accept that as a valid excuse since the windows in the back seat of my car do not have the blotching problem. I asked for the name and phone number of a district service manager so that I could address the problem with her.
